Burgers don’t have to be cerebral: it’s much easier to just jump straight in, eat with your hands and have a great time. And that’s exactly what’s expected of diners at Boozy Cow. It’s totally informal, so say goodbye to traditional dining, ditch the plates and cutlery, roll up your sleeves and get stuck in – you will be sharing your food, even if you don’t plan to. Portions are generous and the burgers are real showstoppers: the meat is juicy, the bun is soft, and they don’t disintegrate when you start to dig in. In contrast, the spicy Philly cheese steak is harder to handle but no-one’s going to tell if you do resort to fork and knife. If you’re still hungry after all that then the milkshakes are a delight: the strawberry version, with a mountain of cream, will undoubtedly take you back to childhood.
